Nima goes the distance to cheer on and support everyone at Riverside. A protector of our Core Values, Nima relentlessly drives progress, improvements and innovations forward. Seeing that every decision contributes to building an enterprise that makes unique contributions to the communities we operate in. Inspired by his family, Nima loops in his boys to test new products and leans on his wife for advice. For Nima, Riverside is a family company inside and out.
For Salma, it’s all about the 6 rights: materials, time, place, price, quality and partners. For her, you can’t have one without all the others! Since this the start, this has been Riverside’s way. As one of the founders, Salma believes that Riverside can be a best-in-class corporate example, bringing compassion, pushing what’s possible and leaving the planet better. When not reimagining what’s possible, Salma’s on the trails with her bike, her family and if it’s Friday evening, a delicious piece or two of cheese!
Sahba spends most of her day on the production floor working with the team on safety, quality and efficiency. Making sure that every step is right and that everyone at Riverside is part of the experience. To be a model company is where Sahba sees Riverside. Taking care of people, communities and the planet, all while being profitable. To get there, she gives her all.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Justin brings rigour and fact to Riverside’s Core Values. As an experienced consultant, Justin understands what it takes for manufacturing to meet next-level standards and pours his passion into his role. When not at Riverside, you’ll find him with his family or on the golf course.
As we work towards the goal of becoming a triple bottom line company, Robbie provides strategic financial acumen, planning, and forward-thinking. Together with the senior management team, Robbie identifies and makes recommendations for improving our operational and financial well-being. And little known fact, 100% of Robbie’s daily vegetable intake comes from MadeGood.
Ken leads the people strategy at Riverside. With extensive experience in talent management, organizational development and compensation & benefits experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, Ken is building a team that supports and lives our Core Values. A lover of the great outdoors, Ken is lucky to have the lake right in his front yard.
Valerie proudly joined Riverside after being a fan of Riverside’s flagship brand MadeGood and learning more about this passionate team, the Core Values and Riverside’s strong purpose. With a sales and marketing background, Valerie leads the Canadian Commercial Team. This team partners with our retailers to bring our better for you products to Canadian consumers made right here in Canada. Valerie and her family enjoy spending time together travelling, cooking, and going for long car rides with good music.
Nicole leads the marketing team at Riverside. She is passionate about working with other teams at Riverside to build products that meet consumer needs, building brand love through inspirational storytelling, and converting this to value by delivering a holistic promise of goodness. Outside of work, Nicole is an avid runner. She finds joy in cooking, baking, and sharing meals with her family.
Andrew spends his day seeking ways to optimize operations and looking for ways to maximizing Riverside’s production efficiency. His extensive experience leading organizations to realize their true potential is his North Star. Andrew believes the culture and strong values demonstrated everyday are the key ingredients that make Riverside so successful and a great place to work. Andrew enjoys a great adventure and as such has walked the El Camino twice and has bareboat chartered sailboats in many Caribbean countries. He enjoys hiking, kayaking and playing golf.
Francisco leads the Technical Design functions at Riverside. The Technical Design Team in partnership with Innovation, our Customers, Marketing, and Manufacturing works on creating delicious, high quality and sustainable better-for-you products, packaging, processes, and quality systems that are aligned to Riverside’s purpose. Francisco has a passion for the positive impact that companies must have to society and to the planet. Francisco also enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, working out, learning new things, and discovering new places and cultures.
Madeleyne leads the Business Transformation and Technology team. With 25+ years’ experience defining IT strategies and delivering enterprise capabilities, she is responsible for optimizing core business processes and enabling faster and smarter growth via improved technology. Madeleyne is energized by people and their collective power to deliver results. She believes that Riverside's values in action are the fuel that will continue to propel the company to its sustained success and growth. Madeleyne is passionate about fitness, personal growth, and taking on ventures that get her out of her comfort zone.
Stewart leads the finance and accounting team at Riverside. With extensive experience in the retail and consumer goods industries, Stewart provides financial leadership to Riverside that balances driving profitable growth with investing in our people, communities and planet. He guides a team that collaborates as analytical thought partners with leaders across the organization. Outside of work, Stewart loves sports, playing tennis and spending quality time with his family.
In addition to being consumer-obsessed, Riverside is also extremely customer-focused. Based in our Chicago office, Adam champions our US retail partners and ensures the widespread availability of our portfolio of products to fulfill our goal of bringing inclusive, healthy snacks to the masses. When he isn’t on the road visiting our customers, he is usually watching sports, solving the New York Times Crossword, barbecuing, or handing out Made Good products after his kids’ t-ball and soccer games!
