Riverside teams up with Facedrive Health to use wearable TransSCAN device for COVID-19 Contact tracing in our workplace.

Facedrive Inc, a Canadian “people-and-planet first” technology ecosystem released a wearable contact tracing solutions, TraceSCAN to meet the varied needs of businesses and their employees.

At the same time Riverside, was searching for ways to use technology to efficiently and effectively keep employees safe while they were at work during the pandemic.

TraceSCAN was the perfect solution to simplify contract tracing should Riverside ever have a reported COVID infection among our employees. TraceSCAN was a solution that allows RNF to protect the entire workforce by tracking the interactions of individuals throughout the day.

“When looking at contact tracing solutions to ensure employee health and safety, we also wanted to ensure that the technology was compatible with the food sector and doesn’t pose a food safety risk for products at our plants,” said Riverside Natural Foods Health & Safety Specialist, Vincent Fortuna. “TraceSCAN wearable tags are a great fit as it can be easily attached to employee badges and won’t lead to food contamination while employees are working,” Fortuna added.

TraceSCAN employs wearable technology, including wristbands, tags and pods, that have Bluetooth contact tracing abilities to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 at the workplace. Facedrive Health’s ability to provide custom wearable solutions allow for seamless adoption for companies and their employees.

While we were happy to find that Facedrive Health could provide us the tracing solution we were looking for, we were also excited to learn that they share our values and our commitment to make the world a healthier and more compassionate place. Facedrive is a “people-and-planet first” platform offering socially-responsible services to local communities with a strong commitment to doing business fairly, equitably and sustainably for most acute health challenges of the day.

We look forward to a long partnership with another great Canadian success story.
