Statement of No Political Contributions

Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. confirms that it made no direct financial contributions for the purpose of lobbying during fiscal year 2025.

This confirmation extends to all entities and sites within Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. — RNF Toronto, RNF Chicago, RIBV, and RNF Pet.

This position reflects the standing commitment recorded in the Riverside Responsible Lobbying and Engagement Policy, section 4.0, which states that Riverside “makes no financial contributions to political parties, candidates for public office, political action committees, referendum campaigns, or organizations whose primary purpose is to elect candidates”, in every country in which it operates and whether a contribution would be made directly or through a third party. Section 4.0 further states that Riverside makes “no in-kind political contributions either”, and that its facilities, staff time, products, data, media, and brand assets are not provided to a party, candidate, or electoral campaign.

Membership dues, sponsorships, and event fees paid to trade associations and non-profit organizations are not political contributions. As recorded in section 4.0 of that policy, such payments are tracked, reviewed against the policy each year, and reported alongside Riverside’s lobbying positions in its annual Impact Report. The organizations concerned are listed in the registry at Appendix A to that policy.

Riverside does not anticipate making political contributions in future fiscal years. Should that position change, the change will be disclosed in the Impact Report for the fiscal year in which it occurs.
